Eagle Rock Golf Course

Eagle Rock is nestled on 180 acres in the east edge of Defiance, Ohio and offers a pleasurable golf experience for the occasional golfer as well as those who enjoy a challenge. Under new ownership and management, the former private Kettenring Country Club is now a public club, with a variety of memberships available.Unlike the typical northwest Ohio flat terrain, Eagle Rock boasts beautiful rolling hills and elevation changes. Tree-lined fairways, water features, and a winding creek give Eagle Rock golfers a unique golfing experience. It is not uncommon to glimpse an eagle flying overhead, as the majestic birds venture from their nest on the nearby Maumee River at Independence Dam State Park.

Auglaize Golf Course

Auglaize Golf Club is located south of Defiance, Ohio on the Auglaize River. The front 9 is completely surrounded by a body of water with many mature trees. Water can come into play on 13 of the 18 holes. The back 9 is more forgiving and open. There are 33 sand bunkers that come into play on the course. The greens are a bent/poa mix, fairways and tees are blue/rye/poa mix. The shapes and contours of the greens add the biggest challenge on the course. Auglaize is well maintained for any level of golfer to enjoy.

Hickory Hills Golf Course, Hicksville, OH

The 9-hole "Hickory Hills" course at the Hickory Hills Golf Club facility in Hicksville, Ohio features 3,089 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by B.A. Brown, the Hickory Hills golf course opened in 1960. Darren Brown manages the course as the CEO.
